Eastside Dermatology is a dedicated healthcare provider specializing in dermatological services focused on exceptional patient care.
As a Medical Biller, you will ensure accurate medical billing and coding for dermatology services, maintain financial health of the practice, and facilitate seamless patient care.
Responsibilities include processing and submitting medical billing claims timely, utilizing ICD-10 and other coding systems for diagnoses and procedures, managing accounts receivable and collections, posting payments, handling rejections and denials, collecting medical records, maintaining knowledge of billing regulations, collaborating with providers on billing issues, and assisting in payment collection from patients and insurance companies.
Requirements include proven medical billing and coding experience (preferably dermatology/healthcare), strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding systems like ICD-10 and DRG, excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and familiarity with medical office procedures and collections.
