You will work remotely as a Medical Biller responsible for insurance verification, claims submission, payment posting, and following up on outstanding accounts receivable. The role requires detail orientation, self-motivation, and independence.

Responsibilities include verifying patient insurance benefits and coverage, maintaining accurate claim records, preparing and submitting claims to insurance carriers, posting payments, following up on unpaid or denied claims, resolving billing issues, and communicating with patients and insurers regarding billing inquiries.

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years medical billing experience, including 2 years in mental health billing
Knowledge of insurance carriers, EOBs, and electronic claims submission
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently
Preferred experience with AdvancedMD, TherapyNotes, SimplePractice, Athena, Gehrimed, or similar billing software
