As a Medical Billing Specialist, you will adhere to regulatory compliance, treat patients with respect and dignity, meet productivity standards, and complete all required trainings and competencies.
Your responsibilities will include processing electronic claims per policy, reviewing claims for proper billing, posting insurance and self-pay payments, and following up on unpaid claims.
Requirements & Qualifications
- High School diploma required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 3 years healthcare billing experience
- Prefer experience with FQHC billing
- Proficient with Windows-based computer systems
- Medical Terminology knowledge preferred
- Experience with coding and EPIC system preferred
