Medical Billing Specialist

Angels Neurological is seeking a Full-Time Senior Financial Associate to assist in medical billing, payroll, and financial operations for our growing neurology practice. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with healthcare finance experience who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee medical billing and revenue cycle operations.
  • Process and reconcile insurance claims, payments, denials, and adjustments.
  • Handle payroll processing, reporting, and compliance.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and improve collection performance.
  • Prepare financial reports for leadership review.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare, payroll, and accounting regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field (preferred).
  • 3+ years experience in healthcare finance, medical billing, or payroll.
  • Strong understanding of insurance billing, CPT/ICD coding, and reimbursement workflows.
  • Experience with payroll systems and financial software.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage sensitive financial data.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred. 3+ years healthcare finance, medical billing, or payroll experience required. Experience with insurance billing, CPT/ICD coding, reimbursement workflows. Experience with payroll systems and financial software. High attention to detail and organizational skills. EMR systems experience: 1 year. Medical billing experience: 1 year. Must be able to relocate to Abington, MA before starting work.
