We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Ambulance Medical Biller to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately processing ambulance service claims, ensuring timely reimbursement, and maintaining comprehensive medical records. Your expertise will help streamline billing operations, improve revenue cycle management, and support the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key duties include reviewing and interpreting ambulance service documentation, utilizing medical coding systems such as CPT, ICD-9, and ICD-10 to assign appropriate diagnoses and procedures, preparing and submitting detailed claims using EMR and EHR systems, following up on unpaid or denied claims, and maintaining compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards. You will also generate reports on billing and collections to support financial analysis and process improvements.

Proven experience in medical billing with a focus on ambulance or emergency medical services is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical coding (CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, DRG), familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, excellent understanding of medical records management, insurance processes, and collection procedures are required. Ability to interpret complex billing guidelines and ensure compliance with industry standards, alongside strong organizational skills and attention to detail, is essential.
