Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a Medical Billing Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management Department. This full-time role offers a flexible schedule, including four ten-hour shifts, and the potential to work remotely after 3 months based on performance. The specialist will analyze and research medical claims to resolve billing edits and denials, communicate issues, write appeal letters, and follow up with insurance companies and other parties to ensure proper payment and claim resolution. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and effective communication abilities.
The work environment includes sedentary work with lifting up to 10lbs, repetitive computer use, and climate-controlled indoors. - Minimum two years medical billing experience with thorough knowledge of the entire billing process
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and mathematical abilities
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word
