The Patient Account Biller will provide administrative and clerical support to the Billing Team under the direction of the Billing Manager. Responsibilities include charge entry, coding, cash reconciliation, payment processing including refunds, generating and transmitting patient statements, monitoring insurance assignments, claim follow-up, denial management, and responding to billing inquiries using AllScriptsPM. Participation in related meetings and other duties as assigned are expected.

- Knowledge or experience working with the LGBTQ community and relevant issues
- Working knowledge of current CPT and ICD10 codes
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Understanding of reimbursement and denial codes
- Bilingual skills a plus (English/Spanish preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong organization and problem-solving
- Proficiency in computer skills including Excel
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations in a multicultural setting
