Gastroenterology group seeking claims follow up specialists to join our team! Competitive pay with benefits to include life insurance, PTO, 401K, medical, dental, and vision.
This is a full-time on-site role located in Lawrenceville, GA. Responsibilities include validating insurance and eligibility, determining estimated patient responsibility and collecting for surgical procedures, placing and answering collection phone calls, responding to patient questions, daily claims follow-up including reviewing claim status, working claim rejections, resolving denied claims, and maintaining accurate records of all follow up activities. Coordination with medical staff regarding required documentation and assistance in appeals process as necessary is also required.
Experience with insurance eligibility & benefits Experience with medical claims follow-up and billing practices Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to multi-task Proficiency in medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Previous experience in gastroenterology or similar specialties is a plus Experience with Ggastro software is a plus
