Emerald Psychiatry & TMS Center is an innovative outpatient mental health practice dedicated to providing exceptional, accessible mental health care. The Medical Billing Specialist – Charge Analyst is a key member of the Billing team responsible for accurate and timely claim processing and reimbursement.

Responsibilities include analyzing and entering charges, reviewing CPT and ICD-10 coding, resolving payer edits, managing accounts receivable, handling denials and appeals, verifying insurance eligibility, updating patient insurance information, and providing excellent patient billing support.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams, strong communication skills, and a focus on accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment. Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance are mandatory.

The position is on-site in Dublin, Ohio, working a Monday to Friday 8-hour shift.

Requirements & Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of medical billing experience
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes
Experience with payer edits and insurance portals
10-key data entry experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
High school diploma or GED
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
