MedHealth Financial, an expanding anesthesia billing company in Woodbridge, NJ, is seeking experienced medical billing professionals for growth and advancement opportunities.
The role requires strong communication skills, accuracy, accounts receivable follow-up expertise, knowledge of insurance appeals process, revenue cycle management, and payment posting experience. Prior anesthesiology practice experience is a plus but not mandatory. High volume billing experience is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Complete daily medical billing tasks including demographic entry, charge entry, charge audits, payment posting and review, electronic claims review.
- Answer patient phone inquiries and emails.
- Manage denied claims, follow-up on unpaid claims, submit appeals or corrected claims.
- Handle special projects with payers regarding denied claims.
- Process payments and adjustments accurately based on EOB documentation, including credit card payments, refunds, and electronic remittance processing.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years medical billing experience.
- 3 years experience with EMR systems required.
- 2 years Microsoft Excel preferred.
- 3 years accounts receivable experience preferred.
- Ability to commit to 90 days onsite training.
- Must be available for day shift.
- Work location in Edison, NJ 08837 with hybrid remote schedule post-training.
