We are seeking 3 full-time Medical Billing Specialists for our Tracy, CA office. This onsite position offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities include verifying medical eligibility, benefit coverage, and authorization requirements; obtaining authorizations if required; processing files within deadlines; contacting patients and Worker's Compensation carriers as needed; and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Typing speed of at least 45 words per minute
- 1-2 years of medical billing experience preferred
The position offers an hourly rate of $17.00 to $25.00, translating to an annual salary range of approximately $35,360 to $52,000. There is abundant overtime available and bonuses up to $12,000 yearly based on production and profit.
