We provide revenue cycle management services to Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
As a Private Pay Collections Specialist, you will manage resident outstanding private balances due to the facilities. You will be the point of contact for families and responsible parties, helping them navigate questions about balances due and ensuring facilities receive the funds owed.
Responsibilities include contacting residents, family members, or representatives regarding past due private balances, heavy phone use, monitoring aging reports, printing and mailing/emailing monthly invoices, maintaining accurate addresses and notes, and reviewing cases for potential legal referrals.
Experience needed includes prior private collections experience (SNF experience required), strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail orientation, comfort with billing platforms (PointClickCare and Visual preferred), professional and empathetic approach to sensitive conversations, and compliance with HIPAA requirements.
