This Billing Specialist role focuses on Dermatology services billing, ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursement, and efficient resolution of claims. You will review documentation, coding, authorizations, submit claims, follow up on unpaid or denied claims, resolve outstanding balances, respond to patient billing inquiries, collaborate with clinical staff for accurate charge capture, process requests for medical records related to billing, and maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.

- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in physician billing, insurance follow-up, or accounts receivable within a healthcare setting; or completion of a related degree program
- Strong data entry and computer skills
- Preferred: Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, medical billing & coding, or related field
- Preferred: Relevant certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
