The AR Revenue Cycle Collections Specialist manages unpaid and underpaid ambulance claims, resolves denials, and ensures timely follow-up per payer guidelines. Responsibilities include resolving denial tasks, correcting claim issues, submitting appeals and supporting documentation, managing accounts receivable for claims over 60 days old, identifying denial trends, communicating with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers, and supporting audits and compliance efforts.

Candidates should have 1-2 years of revenue cycle or AR collections experience (EMS billing preferred), knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, strong understanding of government and commercial payer rules for ambulance transport, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
