Responsibilities include managing the full billing cycle using advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or PeopleSoft; ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations; performing detailed account reconciliations; handling medical billing processes, CPT coding, ICD-10 coding, and medical terminology for accurate claims submission and follow-up; conducting analysis of financial data related to revenue cycle management; collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve billing disputes; and maintaining meticulous records with audit trails for internal and external audits.
Applicants should have proven experience in accounting with a focus on accounts receivable and revenue cycle management, familiarity with accounting and medical collection systems, knowledge of governmental accounting standards and non-profit accounting practices, excellent data entry skills, strong attention to detail, effective negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD-10 coding standards.

Proven experience in accounting environments focused on accounts receivable and revenue cycle management.
