As a Medical Collections specialist, you will be responsible for creating and submitting claims, processing claims and payments, sending statements, and more. Responsibilities include accurately utilizing the billing system, developing and submitting appeals with supporting documentation, contacting insurance companies to collect outstanding balances, and maintaining confidentiality of patient care and business.
Requirements:
- Strong professional communication and interpersonal skills with clients, managers, and co-workers.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical collections.
- High school diploma or GED.
Work schedule is Monday to Friday, on-site only (no remote work).
Pay range: $40,000 - $58,000 per year.
