Fairweather is seeking a Medical Billing and Administrative Coordinator to support the Anchorage and DAC clinic operations. This role involves managing medical billing, invoice coordination, electronic health record (EHR) management support, and day-to-day administrative functions for the medical department.
Key responsibilities include:
- Process and manage medical billing for clinic operations, ensuring accurate coding and documentation.
- Collaborate with providers and staff to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist with CPT, ICD-10, and other billing code review and entry.
- Coordinate invoicing, payment tracking, and client billing with finance.
- Support occupational health and drug/alcohol program billing workflows.
- Maintain billing records and assist with reporting.
- Assist with the management and maintenance of EHR systems, ensuring accurate patient data entry.
- Help troubleshoot EHR workflow and documentation issues.
- Support HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, onboarding paperwork, training tracking, and document organization.
- Assist with clinic communication, supply ordering, and operational support projects.
Qualifications:
- Experience in medical billing and coding required.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and healthcare billing processes preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Professional handling of confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in occupational health, remote medicine, or clinic operations.
- Experience with invoicing and client billing coordination.
- Familiarity with Alaska medical operations or industrial medicine environments.
