Optimum Therapies, a therapist-owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, pelvic rehab, vestibular, sports medicine, and physical therapy, is seeking a Billing Specialist to join their Revenue Cycle Management team in Eau Claire, WI. The role supports clinics through accurate billing, claims management, and accounts receivable processes.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and submitting insurance claims
Monitoring and correcting claim rejections
Posting payments and adjustments
Investigating and resolving insurance denials
Assisting with insurance verifications and authorizations
Communicating coverage details and financial responsibilities
Supporting patient billing inquiries
Reviewing accounts and resolving outstanding balances
Submitting appeals as needed
Staying current on payer requirements and billing processes

This full-time, in-office position involves daily computer work, collaboration with clinic teams, and communication with patients and insurance companies.

Requirements & Qualifications

Organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable with systems and spreadsheets
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving and ability to work independently
Experience in medical billing or healthcare office preferred
Accounts receivable experience preferred
Familiarity with insurance processes preferred
Basic to intermediate Excel skills preferred
