This Billing Specialist role manages billing processes for community care services including ICD-10, charge entry, receipt posting, and accounts receivable. Responsibilities include preparing accurate billing, processing claims, verifying insurance details, ensuring compliance with regulations, coordinating with insurance companies, maintaining client insurance records, monitoring accounts receivable, processing adjustments, supporting finance and audit tasks, and collaborating with case managers for service documentation.
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred. Preferred 1 year billing experience. Skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office and billing software, attention to detail, organization, communication, and ability to work independently and in teams.
The position requires prolonged desk work, effective communication, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds.
