Collection Specialist

CRDN Team Crouch provides expert restoration services for textiles, electronics, art, and other contents damaged by fire, smoke, water, or other disasters. They own and operate their own plants and warehouses and serve major homeowners' insurance companies across Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee.

The Collections Specialist will manage account balances, insurance follow-up, claims processing, payment collections, and maintain accurate billing records. The role requires strong communication skills and knowledge of billing procedures.

Responsibilities include submitting and processing insurance claims on time, following up on unpaid or denied claims, reviewing accounts for outstanding balances and collecting payments, contacting customers or insurance regarding past due balances, posting payments, maintaining documentation of collection activities, resolving billing discrepancies, and preparing reports related to collections and payment trends. The specialist will assist with billing questions and provide excellent customer service.

Preferred qualifications are medical billing experience, collections experience, ability to work independently, strong problem-solving, and customer service skills. Minimum 2 years of billing and collections experience preferred, including insurance verification, claim submissions, and denial management. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are required.
