Bridge Dermpath is a physician-owned practice specializing in dermatopathology located in Tarrytown, NY. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
The ideal candidate is organized, goal-oriented, eager to learn healthcare claims management, and has excellent time management skills. Responsibilities include confirming patient information, entering demographic and insurance data, using payer portals for eligibility and claim status, reviewing claims, managing electronic claim rejections, following up on aged accounts, reviewing billing statements, adhering to HIPAA protocols, handling patient billing inquiries, and generating billing reports.
Education and experience requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of medical billing or medical office experience, proficiency in Outlook and Excel, and bilingual Spanish is preferred.
