Liberty Resources is seeking a Patient Account Representative to support our Revenue Cycle Billing Team.

As a Patient Account Representative, your responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound calls to discuss patient balances, explaining statements, negotiating payment options, collecting and processing payments, reviewing and processing sliding scale applications, negotiating payment plans and financial assistance, handling customer service issues and complaints, documenting patient communication and agreements, maintaining reports and reconciliations, applying payments to accounts, and ensuring patients understand their statements.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree preferred, or medical billing and collections training courses; high school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working in a medical office setting
- Strong problem-solving and real-time issue review skills
- NextGen EHR experience preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, initiative, and self-direction
- Proficient in data entry, word processing, database management, and spreadsheets (Microsoft Office)
- Strong working knowledge of medical terminology
Pay rate: $23-$25 per hour
