Billing Specialist

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health

Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is seeking a Billing Specialist to process client billing and support revenue cycle operations for behavioral health and related services. The role focuses on Medicaid billing with possible Medicare and private payer claims. Key duties include electronic claim creation and submission, payment posting, reconciliation, claim denial investigation and resolution, and maintaining CareLogic Billing/Accounts Receivable configuration. The position requires knowledge of Ohio behavioral health payment environment, CareLogic billing functionality, and Ohio Managed Care Organization billing requirements. The role involves travel within the designated service areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (bachelor's in finance/accounting preferred), 3 years of experience in Ohio behavioral health Medicaid billing, and experience with EHR systems, preferably CareLogic. Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions, and valid driver's license are required.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in Ohio behavioral health Medicaid billing
  • Experience using EHR systems like CareLogic preferred
  • Knowledge of respite services and billing practices a strong asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to bill Medicaid without restrictions
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Must have high-speed internet connection and ability to operate internet-based office environment
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
