We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will provide professional dental cleanings, patient assessments, and education to promote optimal oral health, focusing on pediatric and general dentistry. Responsibilities include thorough dental cleanings (scaling and polishing), conducting medical history and dental condition reviews, assisting the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques, taking and interpreting X-rays with proper infection control, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, maintaining accurate patient records in EHR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix, and ensuring HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
Qualifications include a valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification, experience in dental office settings (general and pediatric dentistry preferred), proficiency in dental and medical terminology and medical coding for documentation, experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures, strong patient care and communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification
