As a Revenue Cycle Analyst at Marshall Health Network, you will act as a key liaison between Revenue Cycle departments and the IT department. You will develop and maintain reports on various schedules using report-writing tools, coordinate and provide training and technical support to Revenue Cycle employees, and maintain a systems resource library. You will be proficient in Patient Access and Patient Accounting systems and third-party systems, participate in testing and training of new functionalities, and work with vendors to ensure HIPAA and regulatory compliance. Additional duties include reporting system issues, maintaining confidentiality, and promoting patient safety.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science preferred, or minimum of three years of hospital IS/Financial experience with similar responsibilities.
- Preferred at least one year experience in financial information systems and/or healthcare finance.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office database applications.
- Knowledge of Visual Basic and HTML is a plus.
- Ability to perform diverse duties.
- Physical ability to meet job demands as described.
