Join our Finance team to perform accounting and reimbursement duties maintaining financial records and collection activities of the agency. Monitor client Medicaid eligibility and insurance billing information. Use computers to input info into accounting and resource files. Analyze financial information per MDHHS guidelines to determine client payment abilities. Manage billing info in electronic health record, verify client financial eligibility and prioritize payers.
Handle insurance and private pay billing including electronic 837 submissions, paper claims, fee for service Medicaid billing. Review third party billing for proper coding, manage claim rejections and appeals.
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on collections to maintain acceptable cycles.
Manage Health Home billing securing authorizations and system entry. Provide collection reports including collected and anticipated revenues.
Record payments, contract adjustments, write offs manually or via electronic uploads. Stay informed on Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party billing rules and regulations.
Manage Electronic Verification (EVV) processes, assist resolving client eligibility issues. Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, data tables, reports.
Manage accounts receivable billing for administrative contracts. Enter cash receipts, reconcile payments for journal entries. Manage cash transfers and approve ACH withdrawals.
Prepare quarterly internal Accounts Payable audits, process payroll, monitor staff with Casper Help, provide cross-training and backup for Accountant II.
Work primarily in office Monday-Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm. Some flexibility for hours outside this schedule as needed.
