The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) Information Technology Department is seeking a full-time Epic Solutions Architect 3 for Professional Billing.

This role leads the advanced design, development, and deployment of complex clinical applications and technologies, defining comprehensive system solutions to meet complex user and client needs, ensuring integration with existing systems, and leading large-scale technology initiatives. The Epic Solutions Architect utilizes technical and industry expertise to innovate and enhance organizational processes and patient care.

Responsibilities include engineering new or optimizing existing workflows, leading high-impact application implementation projects, applying project management methodologies, independent project leadership, proactive analysis and recommendation of system enhancements, product configuration, mentoring senior analysts and architects, supporting complex integration problem resolution, managing vendor relationships, staying ahead of healthcare technology trends, collaborating with clinical leadership to improve operations, participating in clinical operations meetings to assess user feedback and adoption rates, and adhering to university policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Certification in relevant specialty or field
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Strong data collection, organization, and analysis skills
Problem-solving and critical decision-making abilities
Combination of education, experience, and certifications considered
