Dental Hygienist

Toboggan Run Dental

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care within our dental practice. Your expertise in dental hygiene will help patients maintain their smiles and overall well-being. You will work closely with the dental team to deliver high-quality services, educate patients on preventive care, and ensure a comfortable experience during their visits. Active Dental Hygienist license is required.

You will perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, conduct patient assessments for oral health, administer vital signs, assist with medical imaging, educate patients on proper oral hygiene, maintain accurate medical records compliant with HIPAA, assist in four-handed dentistry procedures, implement infection control protocols, and collaborate with the dental team in a general family dentistry setting.

Qualifications include proven experience in dental office or clinic, familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft, strong understanding of medical coding and documentation review processes. Preferred qualifications are an active Dental Hygienist license, experience in general dentistry with patients of all ages, knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques, and proficiency in chairside assisting.

Pay is $38 to $42 per hour.

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a dental office or clinic environment
  • Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft
  • Strong understanding of medical coding and documentation review processes
  • Active Dental Hygienist license (required)
  • Experience in general dentistry working with patients of all ages (preferred)
  • Knowledge of infection control and aseptic techniques (preferred)
  • Proficiency in chairside assisting to support dental procedures (preferred)
