Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. You will utilize your expertise in dental hygiene to assess, educate, and treat patients across various procedures, creating a positive environment ensuring healthier smiles and increased confidence.
- Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and dental conditions.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining infection control.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within EMR systems (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) ensuring HIPAA compliance.
- Monitor and record vital signs and other relevant health information to support care.
Requirements:
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current state certification.
- Experience in general or pediatric dentistry or dental clinic settings.
- Proficiency with EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix preferred.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and medical coding standards.
- Ability to perform chairside assisting in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with compassion and professionalism.
