We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices.

Duties:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital sign checks.
Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation complying with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and the importance of regular dental visits.
Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop tailored treatment plans.

Skills:

Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling.
Experience in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry practices.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control measures.
Ability to perform patient care tasks including documentation review and medical coding.
Experience in dental office or clinic preferred.
Understanding of EMR systems for record keeping and patient management.
Excellent communication skills for positive interaction with patients and team members.
