We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and vital sign checks.
- Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
- Provide chairside assistance during various dental procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation complying with HIPAA regulations.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Follow aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop tailored treatment plans.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft and Dentrix software for managing patient records and scheduling.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry practices.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control measures.
- Ability to perform patient care tasks including documentation review and medical coding.
- Experience in dental office or clinic preferred.
- Understanding of EMR systems for record keeping and patient management.
- Excellent communication skills for positive interaction with patients and team members.
