Virginia Dental Center in Arlington, VA is seeking a confident, patient-focused PRN (as-needed) Dental Hygienist for flexible, impactful work.
You will deliver hygiene care including prophys, periodontal assessments, patient education, and prevention coaching. The role supports multiple office locations on an as-needed basis, allowing schedule control and variety.
Responsibilities include performing dental cleanings (scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments), conducting patient assessments, educating patients on oral hygiene and preventive care, assisting dentists chairside, maintaining accurate HIPAA-compliant medical records, using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, and adhering to infection control procedures.
Qualifications required are valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist, experience in dentistry (pediatric dentistry preferred), proficiency in dental terminology, medical coding, records management, infection control standards, and EMR software knowledge. Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
Pay is $70.00 per hour. This is an in-person position in Arlington, VA.
