Minimum of 3-5 years direct experience in pharmacy insurance billing required.
Must be proficient in processing claims, resolving rejections, understanding codes, and handling third-party billing systems.
Strong knowledge of billing procedures and pharmacy software used in long-term care settings is necessary.
Candidates must demonstrate prior billing experience clearly.
Responsibilities include submitting accurate insurance claims and ensuring timely payment, resolving third-party rejections, handling prior authorizations, maintaining billing compliance, supporting reimbursement workflows, and collaborating with pharmacy staff on billing issues.
