Looking for knowledgeable, self motivated individual, with billing experience preferably in an ophthalmology setting to perform the following duties:
- Insurance verification (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, Commercial, and Vision plans)
- Authorization requests
- Follow up on patient/insurance aging reports
- EOB comprehension
- Post insurance and patient payments
- Produce itemized statements
- Have a proficient understanding in insurance claim denials
- Assist with patient inquiries
- Team player able to multi-task
- Knowledgeable in Word and Excel
- Able to navigate various systems/insurance portals
- Basic knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10
Requirements:
- 1 year customer service experience
- Spanish language required
Work Location:
- In person, Monday to Friday
Pay:
- From $10.00 per hour, with bonus pay available
