Kidzcare Pediatrics is hiring an Account Services Coordinator to join our team in Athens, TN. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our patient accounts running smoothly — posting insurance payments, resolving claim issues, and supporting families with their billing questions. - Post insurance claim payments accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and follow up on accounts receivable balances
- Work insurance denials and take appropriate action to resolve outstanding claims
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Collect and post patient payments
- Assist with patient statements, payment arrangements, and debt collection efforts
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding balances, insurance questions, and payment concerns
- Accurately update patient demographic, insurance, and billing information in the EMR
- Review accounts for accuracy and identify issues that may delay payment
- Work with insurance companies to resolve claim, eligibility, and payment issues
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Partner with team members to ensure patient accounts are handled accurately and efficiently
- Perform other duties as assigned

Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, providers, and co-workers
- Reliability, professionalism, and responsiveness to patients, families, and team members
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Medical billing, insurance, collections, or front desk experience
- Experience with insurance eligibility verification and claim follow-up
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and insurance denials
