Gulf Coast Orthopedics (GCO) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Houma, Louisiana. This full-time role involves working alongside a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare team providing high-quality care.

You will work closely with Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeons and other medical professionals using diagnosis-specific, evidence-based treatment plans.

Expect immediate access to imaging, referrals, and electronic medical records within a supportive, team-based environment focused on patient outcomes and professional growth. The position emphasizes work-life balance and a culture of community and collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

Providing evidence-based therapy tailored to individual patient needs
Collaborating with referring physicians, including orthopedic specialists
Educating patients and caregivers on care plans and home exercise programs
Maintaining documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Communicating effectively to contribute to a cohesive team environment
Demonstrating sound clinical judgment and commitment to best practices

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and have a current, unrestricted license to practice in Louisiana. Strong clinical reasoning, interpersonal communication skills, proficiency with electronic documentation, and dedication to continuous learning and excellence in patient care are required.
