We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing and Coding Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately coding diagnoses, managing billing processes for long term care, and ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance providers. Your expertise will help streamline revenue cycle management, improve patient record accuracy, and support the overall financial health of our organization.

Responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting medical records to assign ICD-10 codes for Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, and Private insurance billing; preparing and submitting electronic claims through EMR or EHR systems; following up on unpaid or denied claims; maintaining comprehensive medical records in compliance with privacy regulations; monitoring accounts receivable and performing medical collections when necessary.

Requirements include proven experience in medical billing and coding within a healthcare setting, strong knowledge of ICD-10, familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and EMR/EHR systems, excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Certification in Medical Coding (CPC, CCS) is a plus but not mandatory.
