Well established Northampton Dental office looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team 4 days a week.
We are an energetic and fun team looking to welcome a Registered Dental Hygienist who shares the same enthusiasm to our practice. Our mission and philosophy is to assist our patients in achieving the highest level of health they desire through education and a supportive environment.
We are a progressive office, using state of the art technology for Dexis digital X-rays, intra-oral images and voice activated periodontal charting. We use Dentrix software and are a chartless practice.
Responsibilities include performing dental hygiene procedures such as cleaning, scaling and root planing, polishing teeth, periodontal charting, taking digital dental x-rays and intra oral images, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, assisting dentists during procedures, conducting patient assessments including oral cancer screenings, maintaining accurate patient records, and collaborating with the dental team.
Skills needed are proficiency in dental assisting techniques, knowledge of pediatric dental care, familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations, experience managing electronic medical records, strong patient assessment and communication skills, ability to collaborate in a team, and attention to detail.
The position is full-time, onsite in Northampton, MA.
Must have a Registered Dental Hygienist license or certification. Ability to perform dental hygiene procedures, operate dental software systems (such as Dentrix), and work effectively within a dental team. Strong communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with colleagues. Attention to detail in clinical and record-keeping tasks. Experience with digital dental imaging and periodontal charting is preferred.
