As a Compliance Specialist reporting to the Senior Director of Compliance and Privacy, you will provide operational support for the company's Compliance Program. Your role includes monitoring, education, documentation, and implementation activities to ensure adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies, while maintaining confidentiality and following the company’s Code of Conduct.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of the effective compliance program elements as defined by the Office of Inspector General (OIG).
- Assisting with compliance monitoring across corporate and franchised operations.
- Acting as a compliance resource for corporate and franchise leadership.
- Maintaining compliance-related documentation, policies, and training records.
- Supporting compliance training initiatives and tracking regulatory changes.
- Assisting with audits, investigations, reports, and privacy initiatives.
- Providing administrative support for compliance meetings and activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree, Nursing degree, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year experience in clinical, pharmacy, healthcare, or regulated healthcare environment.
- Experience or exposure to clinical operations, quality assurance, compliance, or accreditation functions.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Compliance or healthcare certification or coursework preferred (e.g., CHC, CHPC).
