The Billing Specialist I manages the billing process for a provider network to ensure accurate and timely payments. Responsibilities include reviewing and verifying billing data, maintaining billing records, resolving discrepancies, and providing customer service to providers.
This role requires attention to detail, analytical and communication skills, and knowledge of medical and dental billing. Prior medical billing or collections experience is preferred. The position supports financial operations and contributes to the organization’s financial health.

Prior medical billing and/or collections experience in a healthcare setting is required. High school diploma or equivalent. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems. Strong analytical and research skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Ability to multi-task, follow procedures, and actively listen. Able to work both independently and in a team. Bilingual skills are a plus.
