Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc. is seeking a meticulous and experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join its team on a full-time, remote basis.
This role is responsible for supporting the financial health of the organization by ensuring billing processes are handled with accuracy and efficiency. The position plays an important part in helping the organization continue its mission of providing compassionate care to patients and families.
Proven experience as a Medical Billing Specialist or in a similar healthcare administrative role.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, billing codes including ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS, and the full revenue cycle management process.
Experience with hospice or palliative care billing is highly desirable.
Proficiency in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex billing issues.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Competitive hourly rate of $27 to $43 USD, commensurate with experience.
