Clarius Medical Group PLLC is a patient-centered internal medicine and geriatrics practice serving Sugar Land and the Greater Houston area. The organization uses advanced EHR tools, including eClinicalWorks and Healow, to support patient care and outcome measures.

This is a full-time, on-site Medical Biller/Coder role supporting front-end and back-end billing operations in an outpatient, multi-site healthcare environment. The position works closely with providers, practice management, and external consultants to support accurate billing, timely claims submission, and an optimized revenue cycle.

Responsibilities include reviewing and coding medical encounters, submitting claims, managing denials and appeals, posting payments and EOBs, tracking balances, verifying eligibility and benefits, communicating with patients about billing questions, maintaining HIPAA and payer compliance, and preparing financial and productivity reports.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in medical billing and coding

Experience in primary care, internal medicine, or geriatrics preferred

Proficiency with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EHR systems

Coding certification such as CPC or CPB preferred, but not required

Knowledge of revenue cycle management workflows, including claim submission and payer follow-up

Strong communication and organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
