The role focuses on pain management billing, claims management, reimbursement support, and collaboration with product and development teams to enhance real-world revenue cycle workflows. The position is based in Carlsbad, California, with a hybrid schedule and flexibility for remote work.
- 2+ years of medical billing / RCM experience
- Pain management billing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS Level II, modifiers, and reimbursement processes
- Familiarity with Medicare coverage policies, LCDs, prior authorization requirements, and payer-specific billing rules
- Experience with EMR and practice management systems
- Resourceful, solution-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
- CPC, CPB, or other billing/coding certification preferred but not required
