As a billing specialist for a surgery center, you will accurately bill diagnosis and procedure codes from medical records using ICD-10 and CPT-4, prepare and submit claims to third-party payers, apply contractual adjustments, review credit balances, and support audits.
You will also monitor claim status, correct rejected claims, rebill when necessary, and follow up with insurance companies to ensure bills are received and processed in a timely manner.
Location note: Candidates must be local to the Greater Salt Lake City, UT area. A 90-day on-site training period is required.
