Independent Medical Biller

ALIF Spine Access, LLC is a specialized surgical practice focused on providing anterior lumbar spine access services for orthopedic spine surgeons and neurosurgeons. The practice is seeking an experienced independent medical biller to partner with its growing team.

This is a flexible, low-volume opportunity for a biller who enjoys working directly with physicians rather than in a large billing company environment. Current case volume is approximately 5–15 surgical cases per month, with room for growth as the practice expands.

Responsibilities include submitting and tracking surgical claims, reviewing coding and documentation for billing accuracy, following up on denied, delayed, and unpaid claims, managing appeals and payer communications, posting payments, reconciling accounts, monitoring accounts receivable and aging reports, identifying opportunities to improve collections and reduce denials, and providing periodic revenue cycle reports and recommendations.
