Symbria is seeking an Associate Medical Biller for its corporate headquarters in Woodridge, IL. This is a hybrid-remote role that requires occasional office presence as needed, and applicants must live within commuting distance of Woodridge.
The role supports rehab billing operations by maintaining, updating, and billing customer accounts accurately and on time. It also involves tracking and resolving outstanding billing and payment issues across business lines including Rehab, Pharmacy, and Physician billing.
Responsibilities include:
- Enter therapy activity data into Excel on a monthly basis
- Calculate billing information before invoice input
- Communicate with therapists and program managers regarding billing issues
- Assist with distribution of monthly invoices to multiple communities
- Assist with distribution of monthly billing reports to the accounting department
- Track and resolve outstanding payment and billing issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements & Qualifications
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of medical billing experience through work or school preferred
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organization, multitasking, and attention to detail skills
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong data entry skills
