Quality Control Auditor

North American Partners in Anesthesia

Work on registration and audit daily work completed by offshore data entry teams. Ensure charges are posted correctly and without delay within the billing system. Determine whether insurance received from the facility is accurate and eligible for anesthesia services, then update records accordingly.

The role involves reviewing work queues, correcting insurance and payor information, and maintaining accurate patient account data in support of the billing process.

Requirements & Qualifications

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests within designated timeframes
  • Moderate computer skills

Preferred experience

  • 1+ years of experience with insurance verification or data entry in the medical field
  • Basic working knowledge of billing procedures, insurance reimbursement, and guidelines in a medical or anesthesia setting
  • Basic understanding of insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, government plans, HMOs, and PPOs
  • 1 year of prior electronic medical records experience (EMR/EHR)
  • Beginner-level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing work situations
  • Ability to meet department benchmarks for quality and productivity
