Affinity Med Solutions is hiring an experienced orthopedic medical biller to support orthopedic practices with complex out-of-network billing and reimbursement.
The role is focused on maximizing reimbursement, resolving billing issues, and providing exceptional service to physician clients. You will manage claims, follow up on unpaid and underpaid balances, resolve denials, and communicate with insurance carriers to improve collections.

Requirements & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of orthopedic medical billing experience required
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance billing, claim submission, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up
- Experience with out-of-network billing preferred
- Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding, modifiers, and payer-specific billing guidelines
- Experience with appeals, denials, and insurance follow-up
- Familiarity with surgery and orthopedic procedures strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail
- Independent Dispute Resolution (IDR) and No Surprises Act knowledge is a plus
- Experience with high-volume orthopedic or ambulatory surgery practices preferred
