High school graduate or equivalent required.
Associate's degree related to the medical field or business preferred.
Must be computer software and hardware literate.
Three years of appropriate work experience with strong communication skills and organizational ability, preferably within the medical field.
Familiarity with statutes and regulations that impact collection of patient accounts.
Frequent contact with insurance companies, medical staff offices, ancillary department heads, patient registration, credit and collections department, and attorneys' offices.
