The Billing Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely submission of claims to payers, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting billing accuracy. This role focuses on precise claim preparation, proper documentation, and clean-claim performance to minimize errors and maximize reimbursement.
The position reports to the Medicaid Billing Manager and supports billing operations for home care agencies and payer programs including Medicaid, Medicare, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Experience and skills
- Experience working in billing and health care preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Excellent follow-up, time management, and communication skills required
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) required
