Responsible for the collection and resolution of outstanding insurance receivables, including unpaid, denied, and underpaid claims. This role requires effective communication and the ability to handle a high volume of claims accurately and efficiently while supporting Mercy's mission, values, and service standards.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Computer and keyboarding skills
Preferred experience
- Prior EPIC Resolute Hospital Billing or Ambulatory experience
- Prior revenue cycle experience
- Healthcare billing or insurance experience
Additional skills
- Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
- Strong communication and customer service skills
